Staying in Casa Chamelon in Mal Pais till 7/13 for (roughly) $1611 for 5 nights

Will look into regular local tours, looking for ideas, for now all i have is zip lining, horse back riding and ATV. i have 3 full days to do activities.
Will bring food from Chap n Nosh and order from Kosher Center if food gets taken away.

prob a mistake! lol i got a good deal on hotel or at least i thought i did, on TripAdvisor/jet setter price was $495 before taxes and getaroom was $285 before taxes.
Also as far as it is, it actually can be not bad if taking 30 min flight( probably just trying to convince myself because i think it was a mistake i just rushed to book).

I'm sure there's plenty to do! Looks like a good location on the map. Also I think I heard there's a lot todo in montezuma which is rite there

for booking activities, am i best off taking care of everything my self (rather not be too busy with it) book through travel agent, or book through hotel?

Really not difficult. we just drove into a zipline place, we were quoted something like $125, when calling a tour operator, we paid 30. Same for Horseback riding and atv.

Or you can just ask your hotel for the info and drive down there and book it yourself

The hotel booked thru a tour operator. (Andaz)

LIR customs confiscated all of our chicken and turkey products because of an avian flu alert. Everything else (including chicken items not labelled as chicken

) was let through. Good thing we overpacked on food.

Thanx good to know! Is it better to not label anything or just label everything as potatoes or something?
