You may want to take down your fake business name.  Doesn't seem like a smart move to put that AND the credit card company in which you are applying for up on a public forum.  My $.02

A few points here:

1) The ONLY thing that affects your credit with a BIZ card is the initial credit inquiry.

2) Besides for the debt/credit ratio, another thing that can affect your credit when you close down (personal) cards is lowering your average credit age. Closing down Citi AA cards will not affect your debt/credit ratio as they don't report your credit limit, it shows up at $0

3) One way to avoid closing (some of the) cards is requesting that they convert the account into a "no annual fee" type, which might give you (for instance) half a point per dollar spent or something like that (hey, but at least you get to keep the account open!)

i know ppl that didnt pay on time and it sohwed up on cr (biz card)

correct. but it avoids the high balance issue, on the other hand it isn't going to help your credit either (showing low utilization etc.)

When applying for a business card, if I put down my ss instead of ein, will the balance be reported on my personal credit report?

Yes, for the standard business cards only late payments/delinquencies/defaults will be reported on your credit file. It won't show as a revolving/fixed line of credit if you pay on time.

Maxxed with Chase is maxxed with Chase IME, I don't think consumer or business matters.
