Q: How long do I have to cancel the tickets?

A: Officially 24 hours as per federal law and their website, but actually getting a refund seems to require a DoT complaint, so likely not worth the hassle of buying unless you’re sure you want to go. (Dan in DDMS comments)

Suggestion: Call the credit card BEFORE booking the tickets and pre-authorize the charges that will be in Russian Rubles. Other wise it will probably be declined as fraud.

"Most US credit cards will initially view these ruble transactions as suspicious and initially decline the charge. If you receive an email from your credit card company questioning the transaction and recognize the charge, it will then allow you to re-enter the whole order and would be approved the following time. Worked for me." (source on DDMS comments)

Isnt the expiration just the expiration of the passport?

A few questions:

1. Is there Boingo internet access on Transaero flights? I feel like its a long shot but worth the question? How about in the airport in Moscow?

2. How does one access the lounge? How much does it cost?

3. Does anyone in airport speak english?

Just a few of the many questions I am sure I am going to have.

Thanks in advance for all your help!

no. Boingo is airport WiFi, not airplane WiFi. They have their own WiFi

I don't believe so, but I'm pretty there is free WiFi in most of the airport and paid in the rest.

I don't remember the terminal name. I flew from TLV to JFK if that helps.

3. Does anyone in airport speak english?
yes, but the stewards and stewardesses on the flight had a very limited English. It's more humorous than inconvenient.
