im pretty new to the whole credit churning thing but some ideas that i had (like i said i am new so these ideas might not be new but i didnt c any one mention this idea yet )and if any one can answer me that would be great so first q. i need to spend 5,000 in 6 monthes on my amex card for the extra bonus but i live in Israel were i would have a fee for every transaction so my q. is if i buy a gift card using my amex (so i get the needed spend on my card)does those gift cards NOT have a foreign transaction fee?

second does a transfer of balance work for receiving credit? basically if i only spend 5,000 one time on one card then transfer the balance to a second card would i receive the credit twice?

Honesty.
You won't find a $5000 visa/MC gift card, the max is around $200. So I don't think its worth the $4-5 fee for each card.
Balance transfers don't count as soendings to get any points.
Try using Amazon Payments. Go to www.payment.amazon.com and open an account for you, then for your wife or mate, and send money back and forth using your new AMEX credit card.

VS/MC GC's are up to 500 each and Amex GC's up to 1k each. Your question about foreign transaction fee is an excellent one that I don't have an answer to.

PayPal is not free. And I don't want to do anything close to abusive with PayPal.

They want me to tell you that you obviously didn't search hard enough because it's all over the forums and Dan always mentions it on the main site.

It looks like Amex GC can only be used in the US.

again thats very nice but with over a hundred new post a day its almost like looking for a needle in a hay stack just little harder since i dnt believe Dan ever spoke about the foreign transaction fees
