Can anyone comment on whether the classic non-iron twill shirt is nicer/comes out of the wash better than the non-iron Imperial Oxford? Or how bad the Poplin white shirt is out of the wash/whether it needs ironing? And any experiences as to the quality of the more expensive Sea Island Twill shirts? would be nice to have one place with reviews, since the review system on the site is stupid, and usually refers to shipping. Thanks!

I have the poplin and it would look horrible out of the washing machine.

+1. I'm unimpressed with Brooks Brothers shirts, except for the luxury collection (purple label), which is overpriced IMO.

I like CT shirts better. Only thing I dont like about them is they rip by the collar stay area very easy. could be bec of the metal stays.

Never had that in 6 years of wearing CT shirts.

Yup me too, but on a happier note I ordered 2 paul frederick shirts. not as god quality, but good enough

Are they non-iron? I don't belive so. At least not the one's that DD has a promotion on often

Neither have I, however, there have been reports here that the regular (as opposed to non iron) shrink at the collar and sleeve. And I too can vouch for that.

truth is it only happened to the current shirt I have. Never happened to the other ones I have.

ya for the price you pay when they are on sale. there are better shirts out there. i.e. Thomas Pink.
