Not really.  Any other day I get extreme anxiety even just leaving the house for 5 minutes without my phone.  On Shabbos nothing else matters-it's a feeling that's impossible to properly explain.

It's true, me too. But I'm not happy about it and I wish I wasn't so dependent. Interestingly enough, on 3-day yomtov (i.e.. 2 days + Shabbos all connected)  I don't miss the internet or my phone at all. To be fair, I have some DDFites in my Shul, and a prominent one who doesn't even daven there stopped by after davening last night just to say good Shabbos, I was so touched :)
