IIRC Halahca in Shulchan Aroch is that the Shul must be the most expensive house in town

interesting..
i was in new york on fri morn so i went to daven there..
they said one kapital of tihilim then the rabbi said a story about the mittle rebbe hearing the tochcha and fainted.
then he said we get a mazel tov - we closed on this building yesterday!
i was at the right place at the right time
shachris was 7:45 on time and there were about 30 people
good luck
the rabbi asked all where they will be eating on shabbos and if they want to eat with him.
