Won't be answered doesn't mean he won't read it. If you write something he feels the need to respond to, I'm confident he'll respond. He really means "don't waste my time (and clutter my inbox) with questions you should post as a comment..."

Right. And with nearly 200k posts that's a lot to read. The only solution is if you learn to search.

Posting already-answered questions is detrimental, as it just cutters the forums for everyone
