What about last month when they had KIA GC's at 50% off?
Situational.  :P

Discover  is the only card that  has the worst customer service ( no use of their US based reps).

I had my first ever unauthorized online  charge on my discover card, called and was told it is taken cared of, few days later i don't see anything done to it and instead I was billed.

I had to contact them at least 3 times to look to this and fix this.

I also had to do my first ever charge back on a recent purchase from SONY and even though I disputed it online & sent the proof & it said  investigation complete in my favor after few days, I was still never issued or a temporary or permanent credit in spite of my numerous contacts with them.

I filed  BBB & CFPB complaints against discover on JAN 5th  and they still haven't responded to my complaint. They have until tomorrow to respond.

All I got was a call form someone at the exec office saying they received my complaints and I will receive something in mail and  credit is issued which was just issued 2 days ago. I got that call about 7 days ago. I have received nothing in the mail.

I advise you guys against using DISCOVER card for big purchase because they have horrible basic card benefits.

I had the exact opposite, they called me about a suspected fraudulent charge, they cancelled the card and sent me a new one. No issue at all.
I only paid 15% by switching to dansdeals

Same here. Never had one problem with them. I can't say this very often but I never received AA from them either.  :)
Only on DDF does 24/6 mean 24/5/half/half

I love Discover for Shop Discover.

I redeem for $20 of Discover rewards for $25 Bed Bath and Beyond gift card.  After you use the $5 off 15 coupon and the gift card it only costs $8 to recycle your carbonation botte for soda stream.  I still end up with extra Discover money for a bigger purchase at BB&B

Anybody has any experience with Discover Return Guarantee?

Have the standard Discover from 2012, which gives .25% CB.
Haven't used it in a few months, and on this months statement I see they bumped it up to 1%.
Anyone else?

I assume you mean through the ShopDiscover portal. I think it's against their terms but it should work since the cashback is not really tied to the card activity but to your purchases through their link similar to how any cashback site works like ebates etc.

hmm because I'm buying a lot at Dell and would love Amex protection on the items as 10% at dell at ShopDiscover is really nice as well...wondering if worth the risk of using amex

I would do it, they can't force you to use their card just because you clicked on a link. Nor are you really doing anything wrong. In any case, I don't think anyone will notice.

Try it first on a small purchase and see if it works or not, there isn't any risk involved  ;)

a. You won't have access to the links
b. There's no way for you to get your cash back.
Try something like ebates instead

Other purchases.
I don't remember if I've tried Staples with them. I used to use TCB when they had 5%.
