What to do with your ties during travel
« on: September 09, 2012, 05:56:09 AM »

Was not sure if to post here or under  "up in the air".

What do you guys do with your ties when traveling ? I am looking for like a small tie case or something a like which could hold
about 5 ties.

Thanks

I usually roll them up and stick it in my hat.

I rarely take more than 2 ties with me, so I fold them twice, and put them in the inside pocket of my suit.

Do you actually own one of those tie cases, because I was thinking of ordering one but saw the bad feedback
it got for the zipper tearing... Please let me know and I will also order one.

How about your suit? How do you pack your suit when you travel?

I have this one.  Definitely doesn't have any issues with the zipper.  Love it

Can't see how one justifies that price (even at 50% off...)

At the price I spend on ties ($15) I'd rather just get new ones for the ones that occasionally get wrinkled in transit!
Although I suppose for those who spend $100 on ties it may be worth it if it's indeed better at holding ties than the Amazon one.

If its only advantage is that the zipper lasts longer, I'd just buy a bunch of the $11 cases!!
