Would it be possible to indicate which searches are alliance and which are airline searches. There is only 1 option for LX, and it's not clear if it's MM avail or *a. In addion is SQ/LH etc, *a avail or own avail (I know the answer, but it should be indicated)

Maybe a star next to the name or something

At the top of the Award & Upgrade results page for LH and LX it clearly notes which it is (partner availability for LH and M&M availability for LX). You can also see LX partner inventory by selecting "Star Alliance" as the airline.

Emirates recently changed the Business Flex award from I to O class, the Business Saver Award is still D class, make sure you are using the correct one in your search.  We have updated ExpertFlyer to reflect the change.  In the future if you find a change before we do, please send us an email.

Are you sure about this?
3 reps I spoke to today said it's changed to C. While other 2 are saying to O.
Any clarification?

Expert Flyer is showing a bunch of availability on First flex which is not coming up online. When I call up Emirates they say they eliminated completely the A class which is First Flex. now it's only Z.
Would be extremely disappointing if true. can anyone confirm this?

The mileage calculator still shows 2 levels of redemption for all 3 cabins: http://www.skywards.com/Mileage_Calculator.aspx

Check EF DXB-DFW Dec 7-10 shows a bunch on First Award availability, and nothing comes up on emirates.com.

See attached screenshot... why does EF insist on showing me 1-stop codeshares, when I specifically select to show only direct/nonstop flights, and to exclude codeshares?!

That is how LY responded to your search query, we can only suggest the search paramaters to the airline in these cases, they can respond however they want.

Please send all support questions to customercare@expertflyer.com thanks.

Somehow kayak.com, expedia.com and all big solid search engines know how to filter this, and when choosing direct it wouldn't come up with stops even though "That is how LY responded to your search query".

That's because they don't do searches like we do, which is why you are using ExpertFlyer to search for this data and not Kayak.  When you specify LY as the only airline, we do a direct connect search with the LY host, bypassing the GDS. Airline hosts tend to do what they want.  If you specify another airline in the search, or no airline at all, you will see the difference.

What is the difference between basic and pro? is it pretty much the capability to do unlimited searchs vs 250 and also to be able to check +-3 days?

Maybe you don't. Premium adds to award searching
-Multi date searching
-Multi class award searching
-Flight Alerts - alert you when an award becomes available that currently isn't
-Award searching from the mobile version of EF
