In my opinion Swarovsky is very reasonably priced, and in my wife's opinion looks real pretty.
IME buying jewlery online is not always a good idea (pictures don't always represent the real thing, and you can't try a picture on)

a surprise present (no try on) i like the online stores better because they tell you exactly what your getting eg how much gold and total size of stone chips so you actually know how much intrinsic value you are receiving as opposed to by stores (particularly basement joints) they mark things with very little real value at very inflated prices

I agree with you! It’s not preferable to buy jewelry online. But of course there are certain reasons one go for online purchase.
