Having dealt with a few frum advertising places, where Dan's Deals stands apart is not only in effectiveness and ROI, but the standards and honesty. So many Instagram and other personalities push product without disclosing it is a paid ad. Competing deal sites even have more expensive pricing for your ad to be worded as a hot deal. It's all quite gross if not surprising.
One of my pet peeves.

One of the bigger Jewish food people(please don't write any names) on Instagram always recommends a specific brand. Its unethical in my opinion not to write that its a paid ad

I want to advertise a chol hamoed activity within a two hour drive of ny/nj/pa (even baltimore) and I'm looking for the best places to advertise with biggest bang for the buck. Researched this last a few years back, but things change, and last post about this in DDF is from 2015 :)

Here's the list I made from last time I researched in no specific order, but if you can comment on this list what you think is most popular/wide ranged in tri state area, and what you suggest should come off or be added, or if there are other ideas you have (statuses, etc). Even better if you can comment based on your experience!
Thanks so much!

It seems to me that many of these have tremendous overlap with each other but not as much with The Jewish Press.

Pretty sure it's illegal too.

its not about getting the biggest ad for the cheapest, it’s about reaching the right ppl. So the short answer is that it really depends on whom you’re targeting, Who will be your clientele, and then find the channel they follow.

Are you sure they aren’t a brand ambassador?
There are plenty of people like that, I wouldn’t expect them to disclose it every single time they mention that brands name.

And it's usually pretty obvious when every single ingredient in their recipes is the same brand. Down to the baking powder.
Workflowy. You won't know what you're missing until you try it.

Sometimes they are.  And if they EVER mention that they are an ambassador, ok.  They always act like its just a random food thought or idea

I know about FTC rules, just saying if they have a long term relationship and they disclose that to their followers, they shouldn’t need to disclose it every time they make a recipe that happens to include Heckers flour.

That’s definitely true, personally I’m so used to it that I consider everything on social media as an ad.

Exactly. For instance, in Williamsburg and Kiryas Yoel there's a Chol Hamoed activity listing publication named יעזורו being mailed.

Cool! Thanks! Looking for more ideas like this!
And looks like there may be an opportunity for a frum marketing agency...I'm sure I'm not the only person who is looking to reach all traditional/religious Jews in the tri-state area... I would love to pay someone for their expertise in this area

By the way I was at a trade show and a frum social media blogger unabashed went to every booth offering to feature them in her story for a bunch of hundreds of dollars. I don't know if the tradeshow management knew or not... But I watched her do it and she didn't mention at all in the video that she was paid

Any recommendations? And do they specialize in reaching the frum demographic?
I guess even if it's not their specialty, they'll know how to best capture the frum crowd...
Any you would suggest I look into?

Shmuli Rosenberg of fwd/NYC is probably the best in the business. Aguda uses him, as does other major Jewish organizations. It will probably cost a few thousand, but it may be worth it if your proposition has potential.

There's a yiddish phone hotline called Kol Mevaser. I don't know how popular it is now. There are a few different levels of ads there.
Small people talk about other people.
Average people talk about things
BIG PEOPLE TALK ABOUT IDEAS.
