SPG versus Amex Rewards

333 starpoints can be redeemed for 1000 amex reward points. With that being so.

20,000 star points = 25,000 miles

20,000 star points = aprox. 60, 000 amex reward points.

Amex reward points are tranferable to conntinental and others at 1:1  ratio.

In short 20,000 star points can be redeemed for 60,000 amex reward points which can then be transferred into miles on dozens of air lines at 1:1 ratio.

Sure 1,000 AMEX points can become 333 Starpoints but the reverse is not possible.

You can only transfer Amex MR into SPG 3 to 1
You cant transfer from SPG to MR.
