Has anyone heard of this sort of account having a ticket canceled?  My father in law has a 1k account and I'm scared if I book myself a ticket they will shut down his account.  Please enlighten me with your thoughts and knowledge on the subject.

What is wrong with your FIL booking a ticket for you? Why would that be ground for canceling it?

The airlines may cancel tickets if they suspect they were bartered, however unless your FIL is making ticket for loads of people they are very unlikely to suspect that.

Thanks for your reply!  I was only concerned because Ive heard horror stories of people booking an account for someone with a different last name and the account getting shut down!.. Ill let him know were good to go!  Thank you!

If I have a 1k account and I book someone a ticket via my account the Pearson I buy a ticket for will get all the features 1k has to offer?
