I did not receive this card yet so we will assume it is the same as last time. Max rewards payout is 300/mo and any used rewards carry over to the next month. Rewards expire after 36 months. So your upper limit would be 10.8k (300x36). This would be very hard to hit in three months since they give out low CL’s.

Yes it is but they like putting holds on the payments. Some received CL's of 500 last time and IIRC 4-5k was considered high.

Well the card only gives 10 percent for the first 90 days for GGD. I dont use those categories enough to make a hard pull worthwhile. The 5 percent on everything else is pretty nice, however as you said the CL's given are quite low. It would be much easier for me to apply for a chase, amex or citi card and just hit a regular spend threshold and get whichever points are offered. Addtl I can always 2 or 3bm it, so Id get real value from the credit pull. Thats why I presumed it was posted as sort of a package with the cd included. And therefore I asked where the real value is as the cd is capped at 5k.

The last time they had this offer I was easily spending $10-20k/month at Walgreens and CVS and I never shop there
