i know, i blame no-one but myself! the huge clue that i should have picked up on is that he was only willing to be paid in amazon gift cards...
either way this post is so very reminiscent of the other that i thought i should mention it

I still can't figure the whole thing out... how did he pull it off twice without anyone sounding the alarm?
How did he trick the Southwest system into recognizing his fake gc (i called to verify and booked immediately with it and got confirmation)??
If he was planning a scam why was he only looking to sell to old ddfers and why would he offer to do it in escrow???

Why can't u cancel amazon gc? What's the members name, maybe dan can help

this happened 2-3 months ago, Dan couldn't help. I bought him Amazon gc and gave it to him by the time SW contacted me that the card was flagged as fraudulent the GC's were already used

Wow I wonder who bought it from him in that 2nd thread in October.

Old members and escrows are big words. They make him sound legit. It gives off the impression that he's not just looking to scam n00bs.

Im confused why did SW cancel gc, what do you mean by fraudulent?

Also can't amazon track the gcs?

Can't dan get his ip address? Or email address and track him by that.
