SPG Status Match

I was just downgraded from Starwood Platinum to Gold. Before I lost my status I status matched to Priority Club and to a Hyatt Diamond 60 day trial.

Do you think I can now status match back to another SPG account I open with the same name?

does status match work from either spg plat or hyatt diamond to priority club? what status do you get? how long does it take?

Im currently Starwood gold and Hilton Gold...
I requested a Marriott challenge (had to show I was Starwood Gold) but fell short on the amount of days needed, (they said I could rechallenge in Nov 2013
I will be staying in a Marriott for my wedding night, and I wanted to know if there was anyway I could get an upgrade or something there..I right now have no status there.
Is there anything I can try?

I have heard of other people (with status) booking the room and having you as the second guest that could check in. I dont know if that would work or if you want to risk it on your wedding...
