Yes.  First you need to find a surcharge free ATM.  And then only do 1 ATM withdrawal per month to avoid the fee from AMEX.

Yup, but luckily I have a fee-free ATM 5 minutes from me.

So cool!  Pretty good location to start off as well, very central, right across Atlantic Terminal/mall.

The Barclays Center, home of the Brooklyn Nets and oft-used concert venue, will have seven ATMs on Sept. 28, including one which provides access to the public who are not attending an event.

But why only one for the rest of us?

Have you managed to find the free ATM at the Barclays Center? I went looking there today to cash out some MVD's and couldn't find the free one. According to their website, there is an ATM there available to the general public as well as a few more inside the Barclays Center which are only available while the venue is open.
