Help with Android Contacts

Hey,

I've imported from several sources contacts to my Note II.

I have the following questions:

I want to merge them, and even see such a functionality built in, bu doesn't seem to do anything.

Also, how do I replace by all the contacts the "p" in the phone-number by "," ?

I don't know about on the phone but you can very easily merge on Gmail.com as far as replacing the p you can export from Gmail to csv, do search/replace and import back.

google suggested merge, which I did, and i'm talking after his merge, lots needs to be merged still.

Just remember that export and import removes some info, like photo and ringer and some other stuff.
