The imporance of being a repeat customer and good CS

I am in a certain city quite often for work, about once a month. It took me some shopping around before I found a hotel (with rewards of course) that I like. I tried the BW but settled in with the Radisson. I got to know the head of reservations via email and she has always been very helpful. (I am also Club Carlson gold, which I got for free from a status match from A Club). Not only does she always give me an upgrade, but she recently has given me fruit baskets and on my last visit a bottle of wine in a very nice suite. Why am I telling you all this? Because if you find yourself in a similar situation, traveling for work to the same place(s), find a hotel you like, stick with it, get to know the management and reap the rewards!

the same applies to many other things, such as car rentals if u get to know the staff, u get much better service and car upgrades

True. Whereas Avraham's stress was to be nice to the hotel management, the OP's stress is what he can get out of it. End result is the same; be nice to others others will be nice to you. To quote Mishley 27:19:
