Tried it on desktop, reverts back to EWR and does NOT show JFK. This is a SERIOUS issue.

Known issue.

Just search JFK and it will revert to all NYC.

Alternatively you can use Google flights

Yup, JFK works, but 99% of people don't "LOOK". In the old CO days NYC never worked, but it at least didn't CHANGE NYC to EWR,it was just not recognized. Chutzpah has its limits....Let's involve the DOT :-)

Anyway to get United to waive the $50 fee for a new member that the first leg of the trip was more then 30 days prior to receive mileage credit?

I probably didn't phrase my question correctly...

Flew 1st leg of trip on United (not a united mileage member) then created an account after. United won't credit miles after the fact if more then 30 days, unless you pay $50.
Any way to get this fee waived?

i once asked them to waive it (for someone) but they wouldnt hear of it, i didnt HUCA that many times, but you never know.

If were talking about a value of more than the $50 worth of points i would go for the points and pay the $50 and then go for the refund of $50, as before you take the points they don't care unless you pay, but once you pay there's what to fight about, meaning your $50 which you want to get back.

If I have United Gold Status, which Star Alliance international partner is it best to try to get a status match challenge so that I can gain access to United clubs when flying domestically?
a- easiest to get (i.e. easiest challenge offer)
b-lasts the longest/easiest to maintain?

As a Premier Gold member, will United give an upgrade on a trip from EWR-LAX-RNO?

Upgrades aren't available for the PRs, but I'm wondering as to how United would break this route down. Lump it all together as non-PR or split each leg of the trip up, and give the upgrade for LAX-RNO only?

i have been checking NYC - MLE for the past few months on a tue there were prob 40 50 flights btw econ, and J i checked this morning and there is not a single flight available for that day
