Don't have enough miles in my M&M account to see the pricing with LH, I would assume the same? I do see they have J fare for 52k which I would take if there's not insane taxes on this route, vs cash price of 430$ Non stop.

u can fly to a diff EU city that dosnt charge but it would cost u to the there

It's not YQ. If you make your own stopover in a nearby country...

Not sure if this is common knowledge or not, but figured I'd post.

I just booked an economy award ticket on United - flight is a TAP flight. After I booked, I went to the TAP website to choose seats, and it allowed me to choose a seat in the preferred section for both legs of the flight, for free (although the seat map shows that those seats should incur an extra charge).

I called TAP to ask about that, as I didn’t want to be charged a fee when I check in at the airport, and they said that because it was booked with miles, those preferred seats can be reserved at no extra cost.

Unlikely. Tons of tech traffic from SFO. Plus they cancelled GUM-HKG to make it happen.

Ah. Definitely not seeing any lower pricing on any dates. What a sham. Delta has 30k roundtrip to Europe on off season dates. United will only be (much) more expensive than before. No promises of occasional cheaper pricing internationally.
