On united's homepage it links to their cancellation policy that says this
"To help with uncertainty around future travel, you now have until June 30 to change or cancel any travel you’ve booked through the end of the year without fees. For additional flexibility, if you make new travel plans by June 30, you'll be able to change or cancel those flights you booked with no change fee."
Sounds like you need to change or cancel by 6/30
On the page that they link to when you purchase the ticket it says this
". For tickets issued between April 1, 2020, and June 30, 2020, customers will be permitted to change free of charge to a flight of equal or lesser value for travel up to 12 months from the original ticket issue date."
and "If the customer decides to cancel the flight they booked between April 1, 2020, and June 30, 2020, they can retain the value of the ticket to be applied to a new ticket without fee for travel up to 12 months from the original ticket issue date."
Sounds like if it was booked before 6/30 you can change even after that.
Which is correct? (or are they changing their policy?)
