I do see the stop showing free, though the DXB-ORD options aren't that great.

There are some ~$90 RT flights like EWR-SYR that will cost you 3-4 hours to make the PQF requirements.

I have the opposite problem. $65 short on PQP with 9 segments already flown.

Any advice? Those ~$90 flights are a few dollars short.

Pay a little extra for a higher fare class on those flights. I already did that on an earlier flight to avoid having to fly another flight. Now just waiting for the 500 PQP to post from the 12k spending on the UA Biz card

Is this accurate?  United has officially done away with award redeposit fees, period. So long as you cancel your award ticket before departure, you can get your MileagePlus miles back for free.

Usually when you check in for a flight online, there is an offer to buy some extra miles. It also has an option to buy PQP

Any risk in having someone book an award for them and 4 other people so that everyone can get Economy Plus seating and then having that person cancel their ticket as they will not be flying and leave the 4 other people to fly?
