Does it work to pay for a ticket mostly with UR/Amex/Cap1 points and a few dollars with the United card to get free checked bags/carryon? Or does whole ticket need to be with united miles or card?

When does Silver status through Marriott Titanium renew? It seems it expires at the end of January. But when I try to register to match again it says check back beginning 2/28/2023.

Just booked 2 one way domestic tickets using miles- it said 15K a person for total of 30K and it deducted 30K, in my email it said

Original price:   15000.0 miles
Special member price:   0.0 miles
Total:   0.00 miles + 11.20 USD

any chance I can get them to honor this? (they did deduct the 30K)..

I have a united paid flight in Economy EWR-TLV, when I am signed into someone else's account and I add my trip to their account there is an option to waitlist for business with 35k points + $600 and I can use their points, does this makes sense? Can you use anyone's points to upgrade?

Can anyone verify this for me. I have a United Quest card but my wife does not. If she is going somewhere by herself but I want to book on my Quest card. It does not appear that she will get free bags. Does anyone know if this idea would work? Book both of us on the ticket. Then utilizing United no change fee cancel my portion of the ticket (I get that it will now go into my travel bank). Will she still get free bags?
