-1 In my own experience and may clients all said it's worth every penny. also Many times you have an empty seat near you as most people are not ready to pay for those seats.
I'm talking about LY, as UA is much more than $100 and many people get it for free so there are no empty seats...
For 6 pax I would spread out in 3 rows with leaving the middle empty in each row and always change on the plane if it gets full.

Disagree. Not needed for kids or short people but for me it's worth every penny. I won't even attempt a plan b unless I have it as a backup
