Per DOC united has removed the partner award chart https://www.doctorofcredit.com/united-removes-partner-award-chart/amp/?__twitter_impression=true
Probably new thread worthy... Ill quote you there.

I booked my family tickets from ORD to ZRH for June 28th using 30k UA points on Swiss Air. I received an email saying that our flight time has been changed to a few hours earlier. When I looked at my United Mileage account I see that I was refunded all the points for that flight without me canceling the flight and we are still booked on the flight. Does anyone have any insight on what is going on because I doubt they are just being overly generous for no reason?

are they upgrading people to blocked  premium economy seats on tlv to ewr route? or are they holding back from upgrading people to middle premium economy,  to keep the middle seat in premium economy blocked?

they are upgrading.
But most flights are going out with empty middle premium seats.

On united's homepage it links to their cancellation policy that says this

"To help with uncertainty around future travel, you now have until June 30 to change or cancel any travel you’ve booked through the end of the year without fees. For additional flexibility, if you make new travel plans by June 30, you'll be able to change or cancel those flights you booked with no change fee."

Sounds like you need to change or cancel by 6/30

On the page that they link to when you purchase the ticket it says this

". For tickets issued between April 1, 2020, and June 30, 2020, customers will be permitted to change free of charge to a flight of equal or lesser value for travel up to 12 months from the original ticket issue date."

and "If the customer decides to cancel the flight they booked between April 1, 2020, and June 30, 2020, they can retain the value of the ticket to be applied to a new ticket without fee for travel up to 12 months from the original ticket issue date."

Sounds like if it was booked before 6/30 you can change even after that.

Which is correct? (or are they changing their policy?)

Just did that a few weeks ago on southwest, NYC-ATL, flew the whole family on 1 ticket, companion pass, and since they leave middle seat empty my older child sat in car seat and we held the baby
Only took a backpack on the plane, checked everything else underneath
Went much better than I thought it would

Which is worth more, 2,500 miles or a $50 electronic travel certificate?
120 characters? Hmm, I wonder what I could write with 64 characters. Boy, it's gonna be hard to use up 15 characters. W-
