Hi everyone, I am brand new to the stock market ,I dont know much about it , I have no idea how to buy ,what to buy and what to look for , but somehow I have a feeling to it , I would like to learn it and get into it .
can anyone please recommend me where to start ? what to read ? where to go for lessons ( if there is a need for it ) ? I believe that it's not such a hard thing, I just dont know where to start .

Two of my favorite reads are Barry Ritholtz (ritholtz.com) where you can find a wealth of information of his own, along with an aggregation of other pieces (for example:
http://ritholtz.com/2015/09/trader-or-investor/) and if you really want to read the writings of a person with a PhD (warning, he's quite bearish right now) you might want to read John Hussman at
http://www.hussmanfunds.com/weeklyMarketComment.html . The one analyst I read religiously every week is John Mauldin (
http://www.mauldineconomics.com/), who publishes his Thoughts from the Frontline newsletter weekly (it's free, but he also has some paid publications).
I think everything they ever posted online is there in their archives, so there's a lot to learn by reading. Though you should realize that you are going to find MACRO investing education and opinions over there, not stock specifics.
If you read some of the posts on this thread, a lot of them a geared towards
trading rather than
investing. Those are two totally different animals, it's important that you identify what you are (or want to be) a trader or an investor. Even within those two categories, there are sub-categories based on style. The one sure way to lose money is to keep on changing your mind about what your goals and objectives are as the tide changes. Get a well thought out plan and then stick to it.
