This is what Buffet says http://fortune.com/2017/12/30/warren-buffett-million-dollar-bet/ ;D
Interesting how there were actually huge gains (Capital Appreciation) in Bonds!
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

You are aware that there has been about a 30 year bull market in bonds. Are you?

Dont know about 30 years but since 2009 when 10 yr yield was below 2.5% till now when its 2.9% its not considered a bull market in my opinion.

Bull market in treasuries continued until about a year ago (and up until recent months was rather flat for the past year IINM).

http://www.multpl.com/10-year-treasury-rate/table/by-year
Where exactly is here a bull market? Jan 1, 2009   2.52%   Jan 1, 2018   2.58%

It has definitely been in a secular bull market through:

Sep 1, 2017   2.20%

Many experts believe that it is over now, but not all. No one buying the dip in the bond market?

Again, On Jan 1, 2009 the yield was 2.52%, so when on Sep 1, 2017 its 2.20% its not exactly a bull market

How much of a price appreciation is that (in addition to the coupon)?

Just look at a visual and tell me if the bull market in treasuries didn't continue through at least part of 2017.

All the retailers got super excited today because of a report that Nordstrom is being taken private, go figure, they’re acting like kids getting excited when a friend gets engaged, it’s a joyful event, fine, but dude you’re the loser being left single, what’s the excitement all about!?

Thoughts on KHC as a long term value play?
It looks like a text book Buffett stock at this price (and not just because he invested in it).
