Not so sure about that, remember, Robinhood is free even after 100 trades so why would a newbie start with Chase when Robinhood is a better product, and even the more traditional brokers like TD Ameritrade who still charge fees will eventually tweak their rates to compete, you don’t just leave a broker you’re comfortable with, know how it works, have all your historical data with them, and start fresh from scratch with minimal to no benefit..
Also, you can’t just come into an established market and gobble it up just like that, take a look at Match Group and how the stock sprung back up after people realized that Facebooks attempt to compete with them is a long shot, or Zelle (big banks) vs CashApp and Venmo and Apple Music vs Spotify... first mover advantage, customer relations, and value are not easy things to recon with and compete with even if you’re JP Morgan Chase.
