Fair point.
During the 2008-09 crash Amazon traded at $30. Even in 2015 could have been bought at $300. I am sure some investors are still holding from these prices.  Even better NFLX is up from $5  in 2013 and reached a whopping $420??
IMHO I think the big money was already made in stocks, very very overextended, and when the selling starts it'll be bad .

Here is a monthly chart of NFLX.

How are you preparing? For now staying on the sidelines. Trading Forex and Futures.

What time line are you giving it?
This has been a long and strong bull market, every dip is being bought, short sellers suffered huge losses,  trees do not grow to the sky , need a strong catalyst to start a bear market, the thing is there are many stocks that are in their own bear markets, at multi year lows, but the averages are still in an uptrend, not showing any sign of reversal yet. When shorting Ill either use options or the e mini S&P 500.

A short may have been the move.
Needs guts to short a stock like TSLA,options is the way to go with such a volatile stock.

Every year they call for the top of the market.  Can someone honestly call the last one out of the thousands of green candles?  Honestly you are statistically much better betting with the trend than against it.  Look for signs to get in the market (not out) until the market gives you a clear signal to show that it is turning.  Doing it any other way is asking to lose.
