Thought on PTON, which is now recalling the Tread and Tread+?

After losing 14% today it may be worth a look.

But I wouldn't touch it before earnings tomorrow. If the market doesn't like what it hears, it will likely punish it further. But a strong report may help some forget about the recall and create some support and upward momentum.

CCXI - a drug company
Yesterday a preliminary FDA report about a drug came out that sounded to my doctor friend positive but cautious.  The market dropped the stock from over $45 to as low as $20.
Tomorrow the FDA will likely approve the drug and the stock will likely go back up.

Pretty strong language from the fda, where do you see that they are likely to approve it?

What's with all the law firms lining up to sue them for securities fraud? Business as usual, or something's up?

Trading get's halted when they think something is a little out of control but that's juts for 5-10 minutes, this is all morning already.

I know absolutely nothing about this stock, but a google search indicated that a whole bunch of law firms are notifying investors of a class-action lawsuit. There's a stock I own that had a similar situation. It posted some very nice gains since then. Situation might be totally different. I have no clue.

To my very uneducated eye, it seemed like the law firms put out a press release on the off chance that they might cash in on it. It doesn't cost them anything, and if a lawsuit does happen they want to snap up the clients first.

FDA meeting today.  Announcement on approval afterward.

It was an FDA committee that met today.  They give recommendations to the full FDA.  Most of their recommendations are implemented as recommended.


They didn't give full support.  10 voted in favor of approval, 8 voted against.  But as an orphan drug, it's likely to get final approval.
We'll see if the market is pleased with this.
If the stock price does jump. I'll be looking to sell out in the first 15 minutes of trading.  That's when the profit taking starts and traders come to their senses.
