Did not have a single loss today, that's not to say that I can't loose that's why you use a SL, the trick is Risk Vs Reward try to minimize your risk. you can't make money without risking some.

Appreciate your expertise on this. Why do you think it's better to sell now instead of waiting for EU approval?

Anyone want to weigh in - would now be a good time to unload SNDL, or wait for a bigger bump?

Not as significant for the stock as FDA approval.

options were pricing for a ± 60% move. When I saw the stock up 80% pre market I figured that all the short term upward movement was priced in already.

Not surprised to see this rise some more... I think this morning the profit takers simply overwhelmed the buyer and prevented the price from climbing as much as it should have. Glad I sold half in the morning, and glad now that I kept half. @ckmk47 we're going to have to ask for the name of your favorite tzedaka

Did you sell any on the way up?

I didn't invest anything in this, but in general, the hardest thing for me is to hold on after seeing significant (especially if they're relatively fast) gains. This is especially true in Tax-Qualified accounts where I am not thinking tax consequences. In a taxable account holding off for Long-Term vs Short-Term gains is taken into account.
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

No I was thinking of selling half yesterday but I have the opposite problem from you

I'd rather be like you but I'm always greedy thinking it might go up more

We were waiting for a specific endpoint.  The FDA approval of its new drug.
So seeing it rise was confirmation that we have the right idea.
