We were waiting for a specific endpoint.  The FDA approval of its new drug. 
So seeing it rise was confirmation that we have the right idea.

I recall several years ago I was holding MNKD hoping for FDA approval. IIRC once the actual approval came (with caveats) it ended up lower than it was in anticipation (though even then it was a healthy gain).

We are talking 300-400% gain for those who bought in the low teens. That is an awesome return on a six month investment.

The profit itself is never relevant, rather the rate of return.

As pointed out elsewhere on DDF recently $10 is 100% more than $5. Actual profit is definitely relevant (but is no one else's business other than the person who owns it).

CCXI as long as it holds the $30 line is good for a swing up to $50s or more If your like me you trade them day in and day out as the levels provided tell you where it goes but if your in it for the swing/long they are a serious BIO with some more serious drugs in the pipeline so no reason to sell as long as it holds the 30s-29s level.
So Risk VS reward is perfect here.

Someone tipped me off to ALLO, which took a tumble on Friday as the FDA put a hold on their trial treatment, and I'm just starting to look into it. Apparently there was a negative response in one of their trial participants. I'd be really interested in hearing from any of the ccxi chevra who want to take a look and share thoughts. The opportunity I see here is that the hold could be lifted if the incident can be pinned on a different underlying cause, and the company has almost 50% of the current market cap in cash.
