Hopefully I would never do anything of the sort. I can't have anything I say about a specific stock be taken as an implication that I think it is a buy or a sell. And if I ever make any such implication, I implore you to ignore it, as I am not qualified to give any stock recommendations of any sort.

And now to the question of the day, possibly to be addressed to @Dan who is so proud of his hometown. Why did CLF soar today?

Trailing stops are the key IMHO. I don't know if there's a way to do that in the physical world. With paper assets it's pretty simple.

Sold some. I can hedge with a contract and effectively put a trailing stop.

Except that the LME has halted trading of nickel contracts (but only after it reached 250,000 IINM). Has that happened to NG?
