I bought ICPT a while back (15 shares). Then it dropped. And dropped some more. And it kept dropping.

But I just logged in and noticed that it jumped up from $10 to $18 yesterday. So now I don't have any more of them. And after expecting to take a loss, I actually made $76 on the deal. (Remember, I just play around, with about $250 in my portfolio.)

I have one Argentinian company in my portfolio, up 20% today.

In hindsight this was such an asymmetrical election, was worth a bet on the upside.

SpringWorks Therapeutics Inc (SWTX)
Has a drug that the FDA will be making an announcement about on Mon Nov 27. One week from today. (Thanksgiving-closed, Friday-short day, Monday-the stock may trade on announcement day, it may not.)
The FDA has considered this drug for approval before, but made no determination, and it said it would look further at the existing data ( didn't ask for new data)
My doctor friend thinks the announcement on 11/27 will be approval with conditions. Not for (was it?) women of childbearing age. Yet they're the ones who often get the illness this drug is treating.

The stock is very volatile. We're thinking a jump on it's approval followed by a cooling off period when people wonder how big the market really is.

market cap is over a billion, doesn't seem to be a one horse show, which should lower the downside factor. Even with that said fda approval bets are always risky but fun! Count me in for a small bet. Thanks for letting us know

where can I find whether or not they get approved?

From the market reaction, it seems the FDA didn't approve it.
But I don't know how to find that out independently. (My doctor friend is at rounds.)
