Just opened the website. Looks insane. Just closed the website. Good timing.

Binary Options are illegal in the US I believe.  Unless used as part of a hedging strategy, they are a form of gambling, in which the odds are stacked against you.

Another major problem is that the nature of binary options platforms makes it very easy for the broker to rig the system against you.

Right, because they aren't selling a product, rather charging a small commission, so they are not prepared to swallow the cost.  These guys, however, are quite confident they will be taking all your money, so they'll do anything to make it easier for you to give them your money.  They also can't easily set up a bank account in a Western country.

Do binary options fall into the category of משחק בקוביא?

For every option buyer, there is an option seller, if your counterparty is a yid, is it not a problem?

Are binary options also used as a form of "insurance" or is it just speculation?
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

I don't know.  Are you not convinced it's a bad idea?  I am prepared to go into more detail if you'd like.

Lets start with what a binary option is.   It is a bet on an asset.  You are betting whether a particular asset will be above or below a certain price in the (usually near) future.  If you are right, you get your bet back plus 70% (that's a great return.)  If you are wrong, you lose all of your bet.  So the risk/reward is skewed against you from the outset.  Let us assume you can guess right 60% of the time (that is an amazing track record for essentially guesswork,) you will still lose money.

This is before we get into the deviousness of the brokers, which will have to wait till later.
