It depends what you want to learn, there is different types of ways to trade stocks.

Wasn't comparing the two financially,

Was comparing them in terms that for the next period of time when you wake up in the morning and pre markets are swinging 400 in the red or in the green, the word 'UK' will be all over the airwaves instead of the word 'Greece'.

Of course financially they're polar opposite.

It will definitely be a short term roller coaster ride, but the long term effect has not been fully determined yet.

But definitely the time to pick up British and European stocks.

But might be ~~definitely~~ the time to pick up QUALITY British and European stocks.

For example there are certain stocks which should probably be avoided. DB is the first that comes to mind.
