I wouldn't touch it. I'm in the retail distribution industry, and everyone is very concerned. No one is insuring against them, we put them on a shipping hold for now, with a lot pending shipping...
Internally they have been constantly laying off buyers and planners, with no real structure. Sentiment is not good.

Eddie makes me worried about going bearish without a hedge. You never know what he pulls off next

If you hedge properly,  as long as it moves,  you should be fine

I have 2 positions in my Portfolio (with TD Ameritrade) that have been sitting there for a while and are basically worthless (ACLP and MHCC). To sell them off would cost me more for the fee than what they are worth.
Is there any way to close out these positions so I can use these losses for 2016 without actually selling and paying the commissions?

I am not aware. But the commissions you will pay will also count towards your losses.
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

Good point.
Though when I tried selling my position in ACLP, I get the following message;
"Transactions not allowed for this security due to SEC Suspension"
How am I to get out of the position to be able to take the loss?

PUTPAC

If they tell you that you cannot liquidate, call your CPA, maybe you can just write it off as worthless.

Actually didn't check but it's up to when I posted. It's hard but I'm betting on it. Not a lot though

Isn't it worth to pay the $10 or whatever the commission is so you can write-off your losses correctly?
