What am I missing?

Were you looking at market price? Or bid?
Market price is the point between bid and ask, so if you put in a large quantity sell order for 1MM, the market prices shifts even if you can't possible sell at that point. You won't buy it at that point either because the broker has to fill you at the best available price and there are a lot of orders for a better buy price than 1MM.

I had some GOVT ETF options in March when the market was doing its crazy swings, and the market price was actually 396,000 per option. My portfolio was valued at something like 120,000,000 for a few minutes. Fun day. I took a screenshot and look at it whenever I need inspiration

The GOVT Marketwatch page was also showing these crazy numbers as the 52-week high, intra-day high, etc etc but they readjusted it to real numbers within a few hours.

Flash traders making a mess of things? Could also be plain old rumors in one direction and then another.

IINM, they are more involved in opioid addiction recovery meds.

Could be. I never looked into the company. Just googled it when I saw it mentioned here, and saw it's biopharma.

So you have your terminology wrong. Putting money somewhere for a couple of weeks, other than 100% safe cash or cash equivalents, cannot be called investing. It could be called speculating.
