The money is coming from all the stimulus uncle Sam and grandpa Joe are pumping into the economy
1) Grandpa Joe hasn't passed any stimulus yet
2) The money is still money that largely would be going into other stocks. Point stands.

I'm wondering where all this money is coming from. Presumably, some other stocks should be declining to account for the increase in these handful of stocks.
And, if it's just a matter of time until these stocks burst, maybe it's a good value opportunity in others?

Quote
The danger is that Wall Street, and hedge funds especially, are experts at identifying what we call basically inefficiencies in the market. This is an inefficiency in the market right now and they will look to close that inefficiency very quickly, long before the SEC, or any other regulatory body, is able to pass laws to try to stop some of this stuff.

It's value, not money (and that's not at all how it works).

It does matter. There needs to be a lot of people convinced to buy to create enough volume for the hedge funds to cash out.

So cute that you think that means people aren't spending money that they "know" they are going to get...

Anyone see a single politician pundit give an update on their Robinhood “investigations “ ? Such clowns.
What I don’t understand is why RH couldn’t be clear an open about WITHOUT saying liquidity ? Terrible PR people

I don’t see enough volume to say it’s done, I predict it will be a slow death as more and more believers pull gains

Well, looks like they actually did put out such a statement (albeit more vaguely):

https://blog.robinhood.com/news/2021/1/28/an-update-on-market-volatility

Still, it came at almost the end of the day and long after the rumor mill had run wild.
They posted the next day basically confirming what that long thread posted earlier suggested:

Robinhood, Fidelity etc are not charitable organizations. So who pays for the commission-free trades of its customers? Its other customers the hedge funds...

The politicians looking for scapegoats? Lol, who pays them??
