Robinhood, Fidelity etc are not charitable organizations. So who pays for the commission-free trades of its customers? Its other customers the hedge funds...

If you are getting something for free, you aren't the customer, you're the product...

Is anyone tracking the performance of the stocks that have been mentioned in this thread? Seems like there have been a number of really good calls.

It's actually not a bad idea to have some specific stock ideas here.

Funny DDF stock story I had with this particular stock :

UAVS
Penny stock dynamics.
Some big news coming tomorrow.
Anyway  Initial investment is double
Care to elaborate?
Rumors going around that Amazon will partner with UAVS.
Tomorrow there's a call scheduled for 11 am
Buy at your own risk

So I invested a relatively small amount to ride the gains with the plan on selling it right before the supposed conference call starts the next morning. I bought at $2.27 and price went up the next morning to as high as $5.15. I'm sure many DDF'ers made a quick buck in a single day, but I happened to sit down to this task only at 11:10 am, figuring it won't drop until the conference call results are out, but at that time this stock trading was put to a halt for the duration of the call. After the call results came out that Amazon won't acquire this company the price dropped to $1.70.. But since I didn't want to sell this stock with a loss I decided to go long and see what time will bring for my little investment. As of today the stock price is at $12...

Cannabis stocks have been on a tear since the Biden team took office, and after some senators have been promoting legalization.

Take a look at TLRY ACB and CGC. It actually looks like we've got a short squeeze going on TLRY today.

I am happy that this worked out well for you, but this is one of the most common and costly mistakes people make. You never bought this for long term prospects. You bought it as a short term trade for speculation of upcoming news. That you are now standing on a loss does not improve their long term outlook in any way. It could have just as easily gone to zero.

Thoughts on veru or xxii? Xxii has a nice business idea that maybe big companies can license once it’s approved. Veru had a crazy day today- can it keep going?
YES!!!
