Crazy trading day today

anyone get any good buys?
Crazy is an understatement. It was the battle of the fearful and the greedy.

Picked up some PTON at 98

Always worried about trying to catch the falling axe, though.
Cathie Wood was reportedly buying tons of TSLA on Tuesday when it was dropping to the low 700's. Talk about a falling axe...

PTON nice breakout. Still has room to grow imho
PTON down more than 33% since then- plus some bad news today about a competing product coming to market. Down today with decent volume.
I picked some up on Friday below 98 and wondering if I should add to the position or wait for further downside to come.
Any thoughts?

Any advice about when to sell VIAC? I bought because I thought it was very undervalued and it's up 130%, but haven't been following closely enough to know when to sell.

After doing some more research I decided to hold on and even bought more. I like the stock.

Wow, has an amazing track record. Haven't seen a stock since the pandemic that has track record like this one.

What's the difference between the VIAC and the VIACA? They seem to be trading at the same amount?

Viac is non-voting shares. Didn’t always have a good track record, it actually dropped 66% after I bought last year, but has rebounded nicely. Here’s a good write up on the bull case-

I like EV stocks as I believe they have huge upside advantage.

How would you split between TSLA, NIO and CCIV (?). I don't have anything yet but I'm looking to go in strong for the long haul.

I'm not, I think it'll still come back down, unless you're looking to day-trade. But I'm thinking long term like.

No day trading here.  Still would have been better to get in yesterday over today...

If you believe in a stock and its future prospects, don't live in the 'could've should've' mentality. Many of the high flying, so called 'new innovation' stocks, are still 20-30% below their ATH (TSLA and NIO included). A quick search of Cathie Wood's top 10 holdings in ARKK fund shows TSLA, ROKU, ZM all of which are way below their recent ATH. Same goes for PTON.

Point being that todays prices are still attractive if you are in long term and have a 'buy the dip' mentality. Short term though, is anyone's guess. Trying to time the market is a foolish proposition.

Don't feel bad, TSLA volatility is even greater than it was because 2%-3% of their assets are in BTC. As long as BTC doesn't go straight up you'll get more than one more opportunity to pick up TSLA sub-$600 (if you still want it knowing that)

If you're not day trading, I don't think you'll regret not buying it at that price.
