I wasn't of age yet, but I understand what you're saying. I think it's a great example for the crypto market as a whole, with certain coins as useless as a dot com company doing no business. At least with those companies, owning a share gave the illusion of value in owning something with (somewhat) limited quantity. Some crypto offerings are exactly the same. However, Doge is limitless. It's a useless dot com company issuing unlimited new shares every day, with no end in sight. It's bottled air, hold the bottle.

Have you ever had a stock you own get hammered due to a secondary offering? How is anything limited? Only when the people that run the company have real skin in the game (not levered to the eyeballs or even a little lower, whereby a dilutive stock offering isn't detrimental to their value (which might be close to insolvency without the offering) is the quantity potentially limited.
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

That's why I said "somewhat limited." Doge has new offerings 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

(Full disclosure: I have a little Doge, because I believe in the stupidity of people.)

Isn't it a bitcoin fork, complete with the total mintage limits?

Per wikipedia, It's the original 100bn coins, plus 5bn a year since 2014, forever.
And they can change it again.

Not a good week to be in PTON with all the bad news. Stock is down 20% this week and is back where I bought it under 100.

Do we think this will blow over and add to the position going into earnings?

OCGN is moving on news. On the other hand MVIS seems to just be a hype story similar to GME.

Just listened to this: mind blowing genius https://open.spotify.com/episode/7A2dZlyR47rqvYERZue0sQ?si=veZfQIqvQ92ytGr9hQpJ0w

Indeed. Rob Arnott is a master. IINM Schwab has Mutual Funds and ETFs based on his Fundamental indexes.

I don’t actually want to invest with his strategy as I like living on the edge a bit (with proper precautions) but his analysis is just brilliant.
Any others you recommend? Preferably more growth oriented but rooted in fundamentals (is that possible these days 🤣)?

I don't think you'll find any specific investment recommendations from me here or in any public forum.

I will tell you that when looking at a MF I look at the investment strategy (to decide if it makes sense to me) at how long the fund manager(s) have managed the fund, and how they performed in specific periods/situations. I also look at their most recent portfolio, to see if it makes sense and is consistent with stated objectives (and sometimes to pick investment ideas).

Before I throw my lifes savings into BABA can someone tell me what I'm missing? They are sitting on over 400bil in cash minus debt it's still over 300 billion which is greater than half their market cap.
Seems to me that BABA at current price should be a no brainier with very low risk and tremendous upside.
