Anyone holding COTY DAL LUV LCID?time to sell?
I'm up LCID 30%. bought it last week. i bought to hold long term, but now I'm tempted to sell and hopefully rebuy at a lower price. I'm conflicted
Stoploss order, there’s really no logic in selling unless you are afraid of precipitous after hours drops
but with this amount of volatility I can most probably just rebuy at a little lower price and then hold long. and when its volatile there is big risk of after hours drop
If this is life-changing money for you I’d say take some chips off the table otherwise stick to your thesis, you’re probably not gonna be able to predict every drop and jump and in the long-term will be better off just leaving it there (if you believe in this company)
not life changing at all. I'm just enjoying the ride
EV charging stocks went ballistic today, due to inclusion in infrastructure bill... a few of them +20% or more. See EVGO, BLNK, CHPT, FCEL, PLUG. Any room for these to keep running?
QS was also up 22% today, they are developing (at least trying to) battery technology for EVs
QS is either snake oil or great technology. IDK.
I'm hoping the latter. JB Straubel seems to think they have something
Looks like TARA is starting to perform. Another hopeful, VYGR, is not doing anything yet but my research is telling me to start accumulating
Any specific reasons?
Highly discounted market cap compared to cash on hand, and the promise of new gene therapies. The cash gives them plenty of time to run with their projects, the low market cap indicates undervalued, which comes into play at the first hint of good news (and that is also an exit/decision point). You'd have to do your own DD, which is not always easy when the company is 100% R&D, but I like seeing job postings for marketing
where this goes next is anyone's guess https://twitter.com/redditinvestors/status/1458133149645303808/photo/1
