Today was definitely my portfolio's single worst performing day  :'(
Mine was pretty sour as well, going down 4.5 percent, though that was only a dip of $6.84 (portfolio now worth $143.25)

$5.81 of the loss was off a single stock, which I bought in mid drop and it continued to fall. Bought 7 of CNEY this morning at $5.09. Now holding at $4.26. Hoping for a rebound though... (Was between $11 and $13 prior to the drop.)

For anyone still holding onto some CCXI, great earnings call! They never even mentioned Europe and instead focused on revenue streams from round the world based on current approvals (J & US). If there's any value from EU approval it would just be icing, at this point there's enough b'ein. Might be worth hanging on until LTCG kick in

Any thoughts on RIVN?

it will take time for then to be profitable especially using union labor ... they are reporting record quarterly net loss of up to 1.28 billion

just spent time looking into them

R\One analyst raised their price target to 110.... That's looking at a roughly 200% upside

Care to explain?

I'm not familiar with that stock.
Just from a quick look they have a massive dividend and a low P/E
Why is the company trading for so low

This might explain

I guess it's similar to what happened to lumber stocks (though IINM there were some dividend cuts when covid-19 started).
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

Way riskier than TSLA. They still need to prove the ability to produce it scale and make a profit. Their stated goal of production of 1 million by 2030 is nowhere near enough to justify current valuation. It can just about justify this valuation in 2030 with profitable production of 1 million vehicles.

If you want to get involved in the EV industry other than TSLA, look into LICY. The battery recycling industry will definitely explode over the next decade, but I don't know if they're going to make it. Redwood Materials (not publicly traded) is definitely in a better position. That being said, I'm sure there will be more than 1 player.
I wonder what people who type "u" instead of "you" do with all their free time.

Is TSLA making a profit on their vehicles?
