They are losing customers and are on a downhill.  Because the stock was once higher doesn't mean it will go back there.

There's a whole discussion just a few posts above... and not a whole lot of substance in that 8-word post to further it

Am i missing something here? If twitter shareholders are being paid out $54.20, wouldnt that mean if you buy it for anything less than that, then you are guaranteed to get $54.20 once it goes private?

Is there any real competition for adults? They lost customers because they raised prices and the pandemic is over. Doesn't seem like a long term issue.

They will also likely pad short term results by gradually tightening sharing to make up for the lost members.

HBO Max, Hulu/Disney, Paramount+

Netflix is also losing a lot of content they licensed as it’s returning to platforms of the content holders. Content has become much more expensive and harder to obtain, popular shows are getting canceled because they can’t afford it, low quality streaming unless you pay for the highest tier (and IME quality is terrible even for the highest tier).

Without a better content strategy it’s hard to see how they retain current customers at current prices, let alone retain them at higher prices while reducing their offering.

from todays closing price it is a less than five percent gain to the buyout price. It takes months for a deal like to close as you need shareholder and regulatory approval. There is also a small risk the deal falls apart.

Think about it you're buying 10,000 shares for a total of $516,000 (at $51.60 a share) and getting paid $54.20 a share that equals $542,000 total profit of $26,000
That's locking in half a million dollars for a while that also has some risk to it and making just $26,000 on it...

True, but this morning the price is hovering slightly before $50, which would yield about 8%...which is certainly not bad

Forget TWTR and NFLX. If you want to hold a stock for a month, buy TSLA and thank me later.
If you don't care why would you comment?

Let the record reflect that TSLA is between $900 and $910 per share.
