Curious - why did you buy?
I honestly bought without doing any research. I had sold all my stocks a few weeks ago and had the cash sitting in my Roth IRA account. (About $400, which I use to "play" in stocks.) I was waiting for the day when stocks would be down so that I can buy. On Thursday, I bought about five or six different options, all which dropped considerably over the previous day, but all that had been strong for a while before. (That's my game - I assume there is a better chance on a rebound when the stock was strong for a long time, instead of a stock that had a sudden rise and then drop.) On Friday (just checked, is was not Thursday), I saw that SIVB had dropped from almost $300 to $82, so I bought 2 shares.
Actually, from Thursday to Friday, I showed a gain of about $35, even though most of the stocks dropped further, one had a big bounce. My portfolio is also still showing a gain of SIVB, because the last posted price was $106, and I only paid $82, but that will correct as soon as it's released or closed.
