Seems like United is slashing the prices to Hawaii.

Fly from EWR to HNL for $500.
Cheaper from the west coast.

Sample dates, Sep 8-12
Seeing throughout Sep, Oct, Nov and beginning of Dec.

Search ITA for best fares for your desired dates.

Grab them fast, they won't last.

You notice that your dates Sept 8 - Septh 12 fall DEEP in hurricane season.  Of course it'll be cheap...The end of summer season is coming and hurricane season will be in full force...The weather is more likely to suck than not.

The last major hurricane to hit Hawaii was some 20 years ago IIRC.
